Miss M. Parker (first initial stands for... her first name) of Pretender is the only daughter of Mr. Parker, leading CEO of the Centre, a think tank, biotechnology, and weapons resource firm based in Blue Cove, Delaware. Her mother is dead, her twin brother ismissing dead elsewhere, and her best-friend/ex-boyfriend/mortal-enemy is the equivalent of both Pinky and the Brain (the aforementioned Pretender).
Parker speaks French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese and adequate Russian and Chinese as well as English; is competent with guns and cars; is working on brown belts in aikido and Thai kick-boxing; and has something of an attitude problem. She's also subject to sudden moments of intuition, although it doesn't tend to go farther than that. Weaknesses include chocolate, couture, jewelry, men, cigarettes and alcohol, but mostly as gifts-- she'll forego all of the above if it just means getting her own way.
She's just starting to figure out what, exactly, that is.
